From the Pennsylvania Turnpike -West

1. Exit Turnpike at the Vally Forge, #24, onto I-76, EAST, the Schuylkill Expressway, Towards Philadelphia. Look for signs for I-476 (Chester/Wilmington)
2. After Paying Toll, Take the Third Exit on the RIGHT, Follow I-476 South Towards Chester/Wilmington. (NOTE I-476 Locally is called the Blue Route, But no signs will have this written anywhere.
3. Take I-95 SOUTH Towards Chester and Wilmington.
4. Look for the Exit marked Widener University or #352.
5. Turn RIGHT off the Exit ramp and take the first LEFT, onto EAST 13th St.
6. Turn RIGHT on Potter St. (Second Street on the Right). Move into the LEFT lane
7. At the first traffic light, turn LEFT onto 15th St. crossing over Providence Ave.
8. At the next Traffic light, go straight across Edgemont Ave.
9. The Center For the Blind and Visually Impaired will be one block down on the right hand side.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike - North and East

1. Exit the Turnpike at Norristown, Exit #25, and get onto I-476 SOUTH towards Chester/wilmington.
2. Follow steps 3-10 for Pennsylvania Turnpike

From Philadelphia and Points Northeast

1. Take I-95 south towards Chester and Wilmington.
2. Look for the Exit marked Widener University or #352
3. Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp and take the first LEFT, onto EAST 13th St.
4. Follow steps 6-10 for Pennsylvania Turnpike

From Delaware and Points South

1. Take I-95 North into Pennsylvania following signs for Chester and Philadelphia.
2. Exit at sign marked "Chester Business District", route #352, Widner University.
3. Turn LEFT at Traffic light onto Edgmont Ave. Route #352, pass the Edgmont diner.
4. Turn LEFT at the second Traffic light (West 15th St.) and drive one block.
5. The Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be on the RIGHT.

From New Jersey

1. Take Route #295 or Route #322 to the Commodore Barry Bridge.
2. As you come off the Bridge, follow signs for I-95 NORTH, Philadelphia.
3. Take the second exit marked "Chester Business District", route #352, Widener University.
4. Follow steps 3-6 Delaware and Points South

Admittance to our Agency

If this is a daytime visit, the entrance for the agency is just past the mailbox. Push the buzzer on the wall for admittance.

If you are arriving at night or the weekend, go to the small cyclone gate, ring the buzzer which is to the left of the gate on the wall, and a staff member will admit you to the dormitory.
